DIGI HAM LINK

Why join

More ways to take part.
Less friction getting there.

DIGI HAM LINK connects licensed operators to a shared radio community using familiar phones and computers. The benefit is a clearer operating path, with the network setup managed on the server.

On the application sign-in page, choose Register new account. Administrator approval is required.

Your callsign is the starting point.

Not owning an AllStar node does not have to keep you outside the conversation.

The shared registration option lets an approved operator use the hosted room without obtaining a personal node number or entering an AllStar registration password. You still need an amateur radio callsign and a separate DIGI HAM LINK login password.

For example, an operator with an Android phone and a headset can sign in, follow the shared room’s connection status, listen to its linked systems and use PTT when authorized.

A practical place in your operating day.

From the desk or the phone

Use compatible devices you already know. An installed Android web app provides a convenient launch point; a desktop microphone and headset can make extended listening comfortable.

One familiar radio screen

The VFO-inspired activity area and clear PTT control reduce the need to search through administration tools while operating. Settings remain separate from the listening and transmit view.

Network exploration

Discover reporting AllStar nodes, save favorites and learn about digital voice connections. Authorized users can control links; shared members follow the links selected for their room.

Shared room.
Shared conversation.

People in the same room hear each other and the room’s linked systems.

The owner manages shared network destinations, giving members a common place to gather. When a DMR talkgroup is selected for that room, it is the shared destination—not a private session for each visitor.

Allow pauses, identify with your callsign, and consider that your transmission may reach more than one linked network. Good operating practice makes shared access useful for everyone.

Request an account, wait for approval, and explore the systems linked to your assigned room. Shared access does not require your own AllStar node credentials.
